Certificate of Attendance

All Forum participants will be awarded an official Certificate of Attendance upon completion of the program, which will provide details of the speakers who took part in the event, and list the topics which were discussed. Each certificate will be signed by members of the ICD Advisory Board.

Introduction

The African Development Forum 2019 will focus on the opportunities for development in Africa in the framework of the current transitions and challenges. The forum will highlight best practices of countries in Africa of implementing successful sustainable development strategies and it aims to create new initiatives, which will strengthen African development in specific countries and for the continent as a whole.
The Forum also serves as a platform for African delegates to grow their business, meet potential business partners and investors and advance their career. The forum is designed to give Insights on current opportunities in various sectors of the business world, to inspire and engage delegates with speakers and other stakeholders and to transform into an “African Growth in Action”.

The Forum will include workshops and keynote speeches that allow for participation in discussion groups, and networking events, as well as expositions. Keynote and workshop topics focus on current investments and business opportunities from experts, investors, governmental seniors, and accomplished business people with focus on Africa.

Upon its conclusion, the Forum will publish a report based on the keynote speeches and suggestions from all speakers and delegates, which will be delivered to the international community.

Forum Locations

Based in Berlin, the conference will be hosted at ICD House of Arts & Culture and in a number of important political, historic, and cultural locations across the city.

Participant Papers »

The Conference Committee encourages academic research and analysis of issues related to the goals of the Conference. The Conference Committee would therefore like to welcome the participants of the conference to submit a paper they would like to be considered for presentation at the conference as well as being included in the proposal document that will be issued following the conference and will be sent to all governments and leaders of the international community worldwide.
